Rudy Giuliani, a man most remembered for his anti-Black track record as the former mayor of New York City has been raided by the FBI.
The FBI’s reasoning behind the raid was due to allegations that Giuliani illegally lobbied the Trump administration on behalf of officials in Ukraine and Russia. F.B.I. agents executed search warrants around 6 a.m. at Mr. Giuliani’s apartment on Madison Avenue and his Park Avenue office in Manhattan.
Giuliani was seen giving a press conference hours later despite allegedly being hunted for by the federal government. He denied any wrongdoing.

“The searches were completly unnecessary” said Robert J. Costello, Giuliani’s lawyer.
For months the US attorney’s office in Manhattan and the F.B.I. had sought to secure Justice Department approval to request search warrants for Mr. Giuliani’s phones and electronic devices, an approval that the Biden administration granted last month.
Giuliani is best known for his vehement hate for Black people, the defending of illegal legislation targeting Black Americans like “Stop and Frisk” even after he’d left office, and advocating for trial by combat in front of the nation’s capital during the January white supremacist coupe attempt.
